Volunteers Wanted – Tai O Landbased dolphin survey
We would commence our land-based dolphin survey at Tai O in June 2009 to collect information on the impact of Tai O speedboats on dolphins. We are now seeking volunteers to take part in data collection.
National Geographic Channel broadcast for the first time their newly produced program “Big Blue” in May. HKDCS has helped prepare exhibition and held talks about blue whale as well.
HKDCS latest activity: land-based observation
of wild dolphins
HKDCS has already held a land-based observation activity on wild dolphins on 18 January 2009 (Sunday).

Little Dolphin Parent-Child Workshop
Parent Teacher Association of all primary schools are welcomed
With funding from the “Environmental and Conservation Fund” and the “Environmental Campaign Committee”, HKDCS will be holding free “Little Dolphin Parent-Child Workshops” at primary schools from September 2006 to December 2007. The Workshop aims to teach the participating children to make three-dimensional paper-clay dolphins with their parents and to promote marine and dolphin conservation to them.
By joining HKDCS, you will enjoy not only member's privilege but also surprising discounts on buying souvenirs hand-made by the Society's vice-chairlady, Patty. Money collected would be used solely for the purpose of dolphin research and education.
