HKDCS has already held the boat survey for the Chinese white dolphin on 1 June (Friday). We shall upload the data, photographs and other details of our boat surveys to the page of Research Log of our website shortly.

In this year HKDCS will continue to conduct monthly boat surveys to collect more data on the wild cetaceans in Hong Kong for research. All HKDCS members are welcomed to attend our boat survey. For the date, time and gathering venue of the survey, please keep watch for our website announcement.

With funding from the “Environmental and Conservation Fund” and the “Environmental Campaign Committee”, HKDCS will be holding free “Little Dolphin Parent-Child Workshops” at primary schools from September 2006 to December 2007. The Workshop aims to teach the participating children to make three-dimensional paper-clay dolphins with their parents and to promote marine and dolphin conservation to them.
