Starting in 2010, HKDCS launched a new “Dolphin Conservation University Programme’ to equip local university students with basic knowledge on local cetaceans and their conservation issues, as well as expose them with global conservation issues such as marine mammals in captivity and whaling. Upon the completion of training programme, interseted candidates would have a chance to enroll the summer internship programme and participate in research works and public awareness campaign of HKDCS.
