There have been 16 species of cetaceans recorded in Hong Kong, but only two dwell in Hong Kong waters - Indo-Pacific Humpback dolphin (Sousa chinensis) (locally known as Chinese white dolphins) and finless porpoise (Neophocaena phocaenoides). There are many differences between Chinese white dolphins and finless porpoises including their appearances, habitats and behaviours. |
