To collect more data on wild Chinese white dolphins in Hong Kong for research, we are starting a monthly boat survey this year. All HKDCS members are welcomed to attend our boat survey.
Points to note:
Boat surveys will be held on weekdays (Monday to Friday)
Schedule of boat survey is determined based on weather conditions so we can only announce the survey date several days before. Please note the announcement on our website.
The survey starts at around 9:30 am at Tung Chung and ends at 4-5 pm. Please bring your own lunch and beverages.
Please wear enough and suitable clothes and shoes. Bring your own sunscreen and sea sickness pills as well.
In case of unfavourable weather conditions, participants will be notified one day before of cancellation of the trip
Fee: HK$150 / head (Member); HK$200 / head (Non-member*) *Non-member must be accompanied by any member

Little Dolphin Parent-child Workshop
With funding from the “Environmental and Conservation Fund” and the “Environmental Campaign Committee”, HKDCS will be holding free “Little Dolphin Parent-Child Workshops” at primary schools from September 2006 to December 2007. The Workshop aims to teach the participating children to make three-dimensional paper-clay dolphins with their parents and to promote marine and dolphin conservation to them.
