Hong Kong Dolphin Conservation Society has held a photo exhibition " Cetaceans - A Showcase of Dolphins and Whales in Hong Kong and around the World" from 1 - 9 November 2004 at the Maritime Square, Tsing Yi. There were over 40 photos on display, including those of Chinese white dolphins, which were taken by Mr. Samuel Hung, and those of other cetacean species around the world, which were taken by renowned photojournalists, Mr. Stephen Wong and his wife Ms. Takako Uno. A wide range of species like the humpback whale, orca, sperm whale, beluga, spinner dolphin, Risso's dolphin and spotted dolphin were included. These stunning photos lured over 7,000 visitors altogether during the nine-day period to stop by at the exhibiton, which was beyond our expectation! This shows that quite a number of Hong Kong people do really love and care about these marine creatues!
We would like to thank once again Mr. Stephen Wong and Ms. Takako Uno for lending us their cetacean photos and providing support to us!
